Bangpu Completes Emergency Replacement of a Drainage Pump Station During Typhoon Dolphin

Affected by Typhoon “Dolphin”, the 13th typhoon of 2026, Shanghai experienced strong winds and heavy rainfall, placing urban flood control and drainage systems under significant pressure. Late on August 9, Bangpu received an emergency request to replace equipment at a drainage pump station. The existing submersible axial-flow pump was unable to meet the drainage requirements under continued heavy rainfall.
